2023.12 December Dissonance

You turn a book page and suddenly find yourself in another tale. A life that’s not yours. The characters match. So do the time and place. But it all seems like a continuation of a journey you don’t recognize. Weren’t you going the other way only yesterday? And wasn’t there somebody else in this tale?

No, that can’t be right. They’d be here too, wouldn’t they?

When atoms collide, they release energy. But when narratives collide, the impact consumes enough energy and joy to split the world in half.
